Tiger Time Lanes forex trading software Live Trade Room Log 12-16-2010 Pre-London as usual showed only little price action this morning, so Luka decided to take just 1 lot long on EURUSD from a reversal setup. As price action was slow, there were a few attempts at that level so Luka had to get out for break even on euro. Later into the London session Luka took a strong 5min inside bounce long, 2 lots on GBPUSD, added 4 lots to the long position about 10pips lower at strong 15min levels. On the first spike to the upside he closed his first entry for -2, and closed 2 lots from better entry for +7. As GBPUSD continued trending to the upside he was able to close 1 more lot for +17. As GBP news were approaching Luka decided to keep 1 lot in case GBPUSD shoots up. That’s exactly what happened after news and Luka closed the last lot on a spike after news for +37. Franjo’s London session started with trend reversal on EURUSD and GBPUSD so Franjo was looking at a potential long entry on those pairs. In the mean time USDCHF offered a good trend entry long at the 5 minute levels so Franjo took the long position and added at the 15 minute levels. Euro news came out causing a quick spike on USDCHF so Franjo was stopped out for -16 pips combined on both entries. USDCHF bounced back and others who kept the trade made some pips on it. Soon after GBPUSD gave the long reversal entry Franjo was waiting for so he took the position but because Luka already posted it in the room Franjo only announced it on the microphone as we don’t want to count double same trade ideas. With this GBPUSD trade Franjo made back the USDCHF loss from earlier and was over all in profit. You can’t win them all but it’s important to take small hits so you can make up for it with the next trade. The Early Part of the New York Session was very quiet. Paul did manage two trades though. First he shorted EURJPY at a 3 column road block but Price stayed stubbornly around his entry price for so long that the 1 minutes started to come up that he decided to exited for break even. What made the decision easier was that AUSUSD had fallen quickly and was now at its 60 minute box with the 1 minutes nearly 20 pips away so he took a long and quickly made 10 pips. The second half ogf the New York session proved to be a marathon session for Sam, nearly six straight hours on the ‘mic’ but it paid off with Sam taking +10, +8, +6, +5 and +14. Really good trading from Sam and he will probably hold the record for the longest session for a long time to come.
