The Weather Outside is Frightful!

With these wintery conditions, we should

all take those extra few minutes.

A few months ago, my one child (no names mentioned here) bought a very nice 1992 Camero anniversary edition at a very reasonable price. This car was in really great shape, it had a v8 motor with 170 hp, 255 torque, polo green with gold stripes and not in too bad of condition. It was the last year of the camero that was made with the original F-body at the van nuys plant before they closed. There was only 8, 197 of these cars made that year, so it was a nice ride to have.

Well it was a cold day out, the driver was in a hurry and didn’t take the time to defrost the windows, 3 blocks from their house, the camero hit a truck and flipped and totalled the car out. My kid had only had the car for 41 days and was pretty heart broken, the driver wasn’t injured, although now a little scared to drive in this weather.

So now that this lovely cold weather is upon us, take a few minutes extra to defrost that windshield, shovel the walk so noone falls, and check on that elderly neighbor to make sure that they aren’t cold, that they don’t need anything, and that they are in ok health, and remember to watch for the kids walking and playing in this stuff.

Also remember those pets, don’t let them stay out to long or if they live outside please make sure to have a breaker wall so they can get away from the winds.
