There is much to say about being eco-friendly these days. This should not be a surprise with the land fills growing, now having to take electronics to special disposal sites, our 'renewable resources' not really renewing and we're finding even the 'green house effect' as well as the ozone layer being at risk.
There are many aspects to 'Going Green' We could really start at the home and look carefully at the products and supplies we use day to day. Such as cleaning supplies, paper products, personal products and grocery bags. I myself constantly reuse grocery bags for many different uses.
In addition, if you like gardening, grow your own food. It is healthier, tastes a lot better and a garden can be great therapy.
Around the house, one should carefully look at all the objects, supplies and consumables one has.

Electric cars are becoming popular and vehicles like the Chevy Volt will be in our future really soon. Right now they are for just short trips but are definitely worth considering if you take a lot of short trips and rarely use the freeway.
Although there is some participation in the Governments around the world, right now it seems as though the Green movement popularity has slowed down a bit while our leaders tend to other matters, however, being eco-friendly or 'Green' will always be a interest that is shared internationally.
So I feel we all should do our part to be a part of the Green movement. Eco-Friendly products, services, companies, homes, building supplies, equipment, machinery, automobiles and lifestyles will be positively affecting our future for decades to come.
