The Demolition of Landforms is Inferior to Global Warming

By: Mel Olmst

The news has been out that the global warming expert have been wrong on global warming, they have skewed the records. People have fallen for it for over 30 years while people have made billions off the lies. It even seems that the media has been helping covering up the lies. We even get mixed messages from our governments. It probably does not matter what side of the issue you are on because you probably do not know what to believe any more.
In the terms of geology, land changes is a lot easier to study than the warming of the earth. Landforms changing has more facts about negative effects on Earth than global warming. The real facts are also actually out there when compared to the questionable facts on global warming. It is actually astonishing more people have not picked up on this alarming cause. It has been going on for centuries.
One sad example is the city of New Orleans. Most of the city was swamp land. Many people have been hurt from strong hurricanes. This land changed to try to benefit the people and give them a place to work and live. For the people to stay in the city of New Orleans they had to be protected from hurricanes with levees. The dangers were known before this land was transformed for the people. The people ruined the natural habitat to live there. Danger was always a factor by choosing to live in this area, even if it was unknown. The changing of the swampy area to people to work had a negative impact on many after a major storm.
The impacts on people can be both negative and positive. Changing landforms can have a far more negative impact on the environment. Global warming does not compare to the facts that have been proven with the destruction of landforms. For example, the flow of rivers have been changed. This change of flow has hurt many ecosystems. Animals and fish have been declared extinct because of these changes.
Another example of changing landforms that has a harmful impact on the world is the cutting down of forests. The destruction of this has caused many animals to die and some animals to become extinct. When listening to news stories we may hear about animals such as owls going on the endangered species list because of their homes being demolished. Another side effect of the forest destruction is there is less trees to clean up the carbon dioxide. The changing of forests can ruin the world.
Changing landforms can also have a negative impact on the weather. Making the lands flat or risen can change winds and their weather patterns. This can cause more rain in an area or even drought. It is not natural for people to change landforms but it is natural for the world to change it on its own and for weather patterns to change. We need to think about this topic as a people.
Today and throughout history, we have needed to change landforms just to survive. However, we need to really study the effects of changing landforms can have on our environment and world. There are real facts that changing landforms can have negative effects on animals, weather and the environment. There is a lot of doubt among people about global warming. More people need to focus on helping landforms survive than global warming. Take care of our planet, especially what we can see.
