SIA License Qualifications

Of all the roles that necessitate a license of the SIA, no two will require exactly the many same qualifications. Here is a comprehensive list of the qualifications that are acceptable for every different job. Details will also be found of starting a pages of each individual job. In the instances where multiple qualification is listed, applicants are not expected to obtain many qualification for one job, they are doing, however, may have a choice between qualifications listed.

Cash and valuables on the transit:

* Level 2 award within a cash and valuables inside transit (NOCN)
* NOCN award documented in cash and valuables in your transit (Scotland)

Vehicle immobilisation:

* Level 2 Award in to Vehicle Immobilisation, (examining body: Edexcel – 0845 576 0026).

Security guarding:

1. Level 2 Award within your security guarding, accepted of the following awarding bodies:

Manned guarding and key holding you should not require formal qualifications. However, and check if the activities applied when undertaking tasks of manned guarding or key holding fall under every one of the banner of some other method of security work, the appropriate license needs to be obtained.
