I have been involved with an online business meant for numerous years today plus I can't tell you how different times I have been asked this questions. "Is this a scam" It drives me nuts. Why did you call me to begin with? Just to ask me if it was a scam? Anyways enough concerning me, how to avoid online business scams; First let's clear the air. Pyramid Schemes are gone and more importantly, they are illegal so let's uncover that through our brains appropriate today. A lot of people refer some online businesses as scams but what they are really saying is they did not make every money with it. In this day an age of the internet where anything can be reported to anyone with just a click of the mouse, it is almost impossible to fly under the radar with a so labeled as scam or with a pyramid scheme. Some people confuse pyramid schemes because that is what it looks enjoy when they see the compensation plan. What most don't learn is because a compensation plan looks like a pyramid, does not make it a pyramid. According to Wikipedia "A pyramid scheme is a non-sustainable business model that involves promising participants payment, services or ideals, primarily meant for enrolling other people into the scheme or training them to take part, rather than supplying whichever real investment or sale of products or services to the public. Pyramid schemes are a manner of fraud. The definition of Network Marketing is: A business model in which a distributor network is needed to build the business. Usually such businesses are plus multilevel marketing in nature in that payouts occur at more than one level. There is nothing illegal here. Entrepreneur magazine says: "Network marketing is a type of business opportunity that is very well-liked with people looking for part-time, flexible businesses" In my experience, the network marketing businesses that are referred as scams are only businesses with either a poor product or did not do a good job with the product or did not carry out a good job with the business side of the product or this is usually a little more likely, the person who is referring to the business opportunity as a scam usually is looking for a uncover rich hurried program also there is no such thing. The one key points I can give you is this. If someone promises you that you will make 10K a month starting proper up front or that you will be a millionaire by this time next year, that person is the scam, not the business. If every person became a millionaire doing it than why is it that only one% of online business owners that make various 6 figures any year. The promise of riches is the scam plus it is not the business that makes the promise but the person selling it to you. They are good opportunities, some better than others but scams, pyramid schemes, c'mon, let's be serious. If you are a skeptic as well as still don't believe what I am saying, here's what you carry out. If you are really serious regarding wanting to start your online business, go to any government agency and verify if the business had at all issues or complaints in the past. Those government agencies have absolutely no buy in here also you will be able to ease your conscience to know whether or not they are legitimate.
