The world is on the brink of a nuclear war. North Korea has made it clear that if the United States and South Korea continue to violate its territorial spaces the end result will be a nuclear holocaust. These words of warning have passed through the ears of American and South Korean officials like air. Just a week after North Korea's statement , American troops were staging war games off North Korea's shore and American soldiers were waving loading rifles, aimed at North Korea, back and forth as if taunting the countrymen. It was amazing that North Korea acted with such restraint after that incident, but such a response cannot be expected to continue indefinitely. The scenario of the outbreak of war is almost predictable. The US and South Korea continue their provocations until reaching the straw that breaks the camel's back. North Korea retaliates with another attack on a South Korean position. South Korean, as the country has so stated, responds by attacking the North. After a period of conventional fighting North Korea uses a nuclear weapon. America responds with nuclear fire and escalates the conflict into a regional nuclear war. Now, the wild card is dropped. North Korea, a country that is not afraid to stand up to America is believed to have amassed a large nuclear arsenal with capabilities to deliver their weapons via long range missiles. As long as five years ago, rubber tipped missiles shot from North Korea were found in Alaska. This means North Korea has the capability to deliver nuclear warheads to American soil. And in this way, nuclear war reaches the continent. How can you protect yourself against the fallout form a nuclear weapon? If you are looking for conventional advice, I refer you to an Internet search on "nuclear fallout protection."
