The main characteristic of knowledge workers is that they are “thinking right, and the power of analysis,” have good vision and strategies for doing, how your product or company can do better. Together with the analytical skills and are equipped with “innovation and creativity.” Knowledge workers with the creativity to find innovative technologies that will enable them to further develop the shot.

The second characteristic that knowledge workers hold the “lifelong learning. They can learn, unlearn and relearn in harmony with the rapidly changing environment. The teacher-oriented and focus on organizational learning in order to ensure optimal functioning of the organization with their own growth. The third feature is the ability to work with “team spirit”. They seek, create, share and use knowledge periodically.

Knowledge workers are “informed risk takers, as well as emotionally intelligent” people. Knowledge workers are mainly characterized by emotional intelligence. It has the ability to understand their feelings as well as others. It helps to motivate and manage ourselves and others. Knowledge workers are all characteristics of emotional intelligence, that are self-awareness, empathy, has an influential role, in addition to being self-restraint.

Knowledge workers are the “action-oriented professionals. They are willing to take professional discipline, patience and determination. They are highly qualified professionals with high educational attainment. Knowledge workers can be a special skills or experience in capacity multi-dimensional.

Undoubtedly, knowledge workers are very efficient in order to increase efficiency and productivity of all organizations, but their management is a very difficult task.

The biggest challenge, which becomes a habit and that is a precious thing. Expenditure of money invested in human resources (recruitment, training, compensation, benefits, etc.) as well as infrastructure. In order to effectively use this information to workers organizations’s should be “solid information technology infrastructure and hi-tech.”
The second major challenge is “knowledge sharing” between effective knowledge workers and knowledge that several teams are involved in several projects simultaneously and independently.

Knowledge workers have high expectations of challenging tasks, opportunities for growth, and quality of working life, pay packages and benefits of ‘sorganization. So, in order to motivate and retain them, agencies must have the best possible for them.
