Internet Marketing with Attention Deficit Disorder

There are tons of ways you can approach making money online with internet marketing. To enjoy internet marketing enough to be fairly successful at it you must find what approach you enjoy the most, learn everything you possibly can about that approach, and stick with it till you make it work.

For example, there are individuals that get a ton of pleasure out of developing these gigantic two hundred plus mega content web sites known as authority sites. I myself have never had the mental ability to remain focused on a subject or idea long enough to succeed at this I guess it’s that attention deficit disorder thing.

Then you have those type that love the art of quick temporary money such as with quick list building with PPV advertising, and promoting lead generation through various CPA networks. This is excellent for them, but I’m much more driven by the passion of the particular subject, and find less fulfillment from just making money, if it was just about money I would stay in the worldof the corporate food chain. I guess that’s the yippie in me.

Then you have many that love doing product reviews and pre selling for Clickbank products. I’ve never really been able to sale anything. My approach has always been here’s something I use, I like it, If you think it’s for you here’s were I bought it if you want it for yourself.

These are just a few of the thousands of ways to make money online, and beyond that are hundreds of combinations of ways to make money using internet marketing.

I started internet marketing many years ago, and bought many of the different systems out there showing you how to make money online, and once you get past all the crap, BS, and hype, most of them when applied do work and make a little money, but out of most of them I have bought, I have never had one create the type of income many lead you to believe you can make. The trick with these various products is that with each one you purchase, you make a little money, but mostly you learn new techniques, and soon you begin to learn how to combine variations of these concepts to develop your own approach that best fits you, and that you enjoy the most.

For example, I truly am attention deficit, but I truly love writing, but I am no good for writing about any given subject beyond just a decent size article. My attention span generally won’t allow me to write anything beyond that size. I could never stay tuned into any given subject for hours and hours and days and days enough to create large authority web sites with hundreds of well written pages on one subject.

So for me, article marketing has out of necessity become my only:one option for making money online in internet marketing. With article marketing, I can have my short bursts of passion and inspiration, and get my message out to thousands and thousands of people with the goal of sharing and spreading my passion and inspiration to others, and making a few bucks off of at the same time.

I’m going to share with you the basic formula I use to make a little money using this internet marketing approach. Essentially I write articles about a subject that I’m passionate about or things that have really helped me, and then promote a product that I personally use and have benefited from and that the reader will hopefully find useful in their own endeavors.

For example, I used to get extremely discouraged with writing articles, submitting them to article directories like EZine, and then having them turn it down because they do not allow you to have a affiliate link in your author resource box which would take a reader directly to a clickbank landing page. Well this meant I had to first write my article, then create a separate pre-sell page that finally had a link to the product. Well for me this made no sense, nor was it any fun. I mean if you really believe in a product, how many avenues do you want to try to send your reader through to see it? I mean please give us a break.

So I went on a hunt to locate all the article directories I could submit my article to that would allow direct affiliate links in my author resource box. This took forever, and I only came up with a few. The problem was that my article I had spent so much time and effort on and I was so proud of was being seen by very few readers, hence creating hardly enough sales to even justify the time it took to write it.

It’s all in the numbers, the more articles, and variations of each article you have out in hundreds of different directories, the more people will have the chance to read your articles, and with the ability to have direct links to your affiliate product your so passionate about creates less avenues your readers have to go through to see the product.

The trick is to be able to automatically spin your writings into multiple variations and submit those different variations to hundreds and hundreds of article directories like six hundred or more that get great traffic, and allow articles with affiliate links direct to products, and to do all this automatically.

Having a surge of passion about a subject, writing about it, and being able to very quickly share that passion and inspiration with thousands, then moving on to another subject and meanwhile being able to make a little money while doing it for me is real magic, and something I enjoy enough to do enough to be successful at it. It’s a very simple formula, and when done correctly and accomplished, can be extremely rewarding. Did I mention I was attention deficit?
