More than two years ago, I took an intern program on online business. While I learned many techniques on link building, I still could not figure out how and where to initiate my own internet marketing.

As a former biological investigator, I was skilled to do a lot of library investigation before I could get ready a project proposal. I could only start executing a project when the proposal passes a series of evaluation by advisors.

With that kind of mindset, I procrastinated. I participated in online business discussion boards and inquired for recommendations. But the more I receive advice, the I more wanted to investigate more.

Opportunely, an entrepreneur friend of mine urged me into action. She said, in enterprise, you study while earning. You need not know everything to begin. The essential issue is to get started and keep it easy at first. Nobody does everything exact from the beginning.

Subsequently, I took the plunge. I did what I knew at that phase. I prepared a blog on "make money online" niche and participated in discussion boards. In two weeks, somebody purchased the $49 ebook I was marketing. I earned my first $20!

Some people declare that earning the first $ thru the internet is the most complicated challenge. But beyond that I did not know what to do. I sought to know more effective and efficient mode of earning thru the internet. I used the advertising methods endorsed by my internet bizopps sponsors. None of them worked for me.

After many months of pursuing dead-ends, I learned that the "make money online" niche is a worst niche for beginners.

On retrospection, I realized that in order to take your online business to the next level, you need discover the right tutor. Without the right tutor who has "been there, done that", ebooks, membership sites, forums, blogs and others would only overwhelm you.
