Today, I will focus on a topic, traffic, and the effects it has on its website hosting. The word here is a simple answer bandwidth.

By definition, the measurement bandwidth and data rate at which it flows through telephone lines, cable or DSL, transfer information to and from a website via your computer.

Compared to your website hosting, bandwidth measures the flow of data is transferred, otherwise known as Traffic. In simple language, the number of hits you receive on your site, the volume multiplied by the specific size of files included in your page.

So if you have all the text is based on a website, you should be able to get more traffic to a lower bandwidth as you would if you are a site of images that, obviously, larger files that site visitors the transferred browser.
It is good to ginger, but how this effects my accommodation? Yes, it depends on your host, and the package you sign up. Case in point, my site design is, without doubt, most of what they consider a graphics intensive web site! I can tell you that the majority of my pages are more than 24kb file size recommended. From the records of my statistics, I see that I have received over 150,000 hits on my site before reaching a total bandwidth of 2 GB, which is usually the limit, is on the lower level hosting packages.

If you know or predict that you will see more success in a given month, you might consider purchasing a hosting package that offers a maximum bandwidth allowed per month.

So, if you have a bandwidth, (aka 'data transfer'), limit of 2GB, that would equal approximately the same amount of data you can store on 3 CD's.
If you build your first site, and they have no idea of how to generate traffic to the door, I recommend you start with a web hosting package base. As your site gains in popularity, and increases your traffic, you can always speak with your host to switch to a package with higher bandwidth limits.

My experience, brand-new sites usually lasts about 3-6 months before the promotion of a fixed bandwidth fractional becomes a problem. Remember to use a host that provides comprehensive statistics and reports to track your site regularly. See the trend and create your own beliefs in search results.
