"Time is money. The longer it takes to get the property back and sell the property, the more wealth they drop offon that loan," Englett said.
Englett hopes the motion will stop unlawful foreclosure it its tracks. He predicts that tens of thousands of homes may have already been wrongfully foreclosed upon, and about 80-percent of pending foreclosure actions contains fallacious documents.
If Englett is successful, homeowners who have already lost their homes could accumulate thousands from their lender. And for the hundreds of others in Central Florida in the middle of foreclosure, it would buy time to salvage their home.
