The Age of Aquarius is an exciting phenomenon for astrologers. It is the new age in the astrological cycle. Most experts say that we are in the Age of Pisces. The Age of Aquarius will start on December 21, 2012, the last day in the Mayan Long Count calendar. For people who do not follow astrology, the idea of this Age of Aquarius is very vague. The appearance and elevation in the status of these ideas in the last few centuries, including nonconformity, philanthropy, veracity, perseverance, irresolution, and mankind, is believed to be indications of the coming of the Age of Aquarius. The Age of the Aquarius is always mentioned as part of the 2012 end of the world predictions and is therefore associated to the December 2012 occurrence. In the 2012 prediction of the Bible, it is said that after the catastrophes, the anti-Christ will rule the world. Whether this prediction of Armageddon and the polar shift 2012 are connected is highly debatable and plenty of scholars have given different opinions about this. Meanwhile, the end of the Mayan Long calendar, which lasts a total of 5,125 years, has also been closely linked with the end of the world since it ends on the 21st of December 2012. According to the researchers of the Mayan culture, the end of the Mayan calender is important. The end of the calendar takes place at the end of the thirteenth baktun; 13 was a spiritual number in Mayan culture; and December 21, 2012 is the definite date that a uncommon galactic alignment will take place in the entire Milky Way. Alignment of planets is a rare phenomenon as is takes only once in about 25,000 years. Many scholars believe that the incidence of the alignment on the end of the Mayan Long calendar is not a coincidence. There is also a belief that the Aquarian Age is the beginning of a New Age where a shift in global consciousness will occur. An apocalyptic theory of the 1950s supports this notion. There are still plenty of theories about the Aquarian Age that up until today, scholars are persist debating over which theory is true. Some expect apocalypse on 2012, some say that it is the end of materialism and the start of higher consciousness. For Christians, they pronounce Christ will return.
