Amongst the most popular games ever debuted on the Playstation Portable in Jan 2006 are the Freedom City Stories. The Vice City Stories carries forward the result of one of the best selling games ever for the Psp console. Featuring an overhauled fighting system, modified targeting and the bribing feature, the game is positioned as a prequel to the immensely popular Vice City. Take-2 Entertainment, the creators of GTA Vice City Stories, in association with Rockstar have been able to squeeze an entire world into a handheld device. Gaming : Against the backdrop of Vice City in the year 1984, the story follows the actions of Vic Vance, an ex United States armed forces soldier, pulled reluctantly into the world of drugs and law-breaking. Vic is pushed into drug trafficking by his Sergeant for which he is eventually dishonorably discharged from the division. Vic shortly lands up in Vice City and finds himself hauling drugs for the Mendez brothers. Shortly he is joined by his bother Lance and jointly they now plot to take over the whole Vice City operations. Vic's unsuccessful attempt and his successive payback forms the focal point of the game. While the principal story is only about 15 hours of gameplay, the real thing lies in the concealed quests and the bonus jobs sprinkled across the storyline. Features : - Extensive graphics overhaul : The buildings and cars are now more in depth than the previous versions of the game. The people are now cleverer and identify you from your previous activities. - Lengthened gameplay : The game is set as a prequel to the Vice City version for the PS2 and as a successor to the Liberty City Stories. - Extra Weaponry : an entire assortment of new weaponry have been introduced to keep consistent with the era the game is set in. - Wider space : Enjoy a city wider and larger than the before. - New automobiles : sea planes, amphibious autos, jet skis in addition to cars, trucks and motorbikes. - Multiplayer : The game features 10 different styles of multi-player gameplay through the PSP's Wi-Fi. - Cooose your own soundtrack : Have your fave music blasting out in the background while playing the game. With help from an application called Rockstar Custom Tracks, you can rip CDROMs and convert the tunes in a format that will be read by the game. - Sandbox style gaming lets you have absolute control over any thing in the game, from folks to automobiles. Decision : One of the best series ever just got better with the Vice City. Extended gaming, improved control and a host of new armaments make this game one of the best Psp console games to date.
